The rules and regulations of all the games are as follows:
Floorball
How to play?
- The teams will stand on either side of the court.
- Each team will send one representative to the center of the court. The ball will be placed in the middle.
- The two representative s will try to get the ball when the game starts.
- There will be a goalie in front of each goalpost, defending.
- Each team has to get the ball to the opposite side and score in the opponent's goalpost using their sticks.
- The defending team has to prvent the atacking team from scoring.
- When a team scored, the ball will be brought to the middle again and the players will get back to the original starting position and the game will start again.
- The team that scored the most number of goals wins.
Rules and regulations for floorball
- The teams are supposed to self-referr their own game. If a player committed a foul, he or she should give up her possession.
(points will be given to the class for overall participation for doing so)
- Each team consists of 5 players.
- If any body part is used to direct the ball into the goalpost, the goal will not be counted. Possession should be given to the opposite team if any player directs the ball into the goalpost with their body parts.
- Body parts can be used to stop or block the ball.
- No heading is allowed.
- The floorball stick should not be raised above the waist level, possession will be given to the opponent if this foul is committed.
Dodgeball (
How to play?
- Players of each team will stand behind their territory on opposite sides, spread out.
- On the blow of whistle, players from both teams will run to get the 5 balls placed in the middle of the court.
- Players will have to run back to their territory behind the marked line, before they are allowed to throw the ball at their opponents.
- Opponents have to either doge the ball or catch it.
- Players can leave the court to get over-shot balls but have to be in their territory while attacking.
- If a player is hit, he/she will have to stand outside of the court, but the player will still be able to help the team out by collecting the balls for them.
- Same goes if a player attempts to catch a ball but fails, he/she is out.
- However, if a person successfully catches a ball, a player standing outside (if there's any) will be revived. He/she will step in and continue playing the game.
- Balls that hit the ground (bouncing) before hitting the players will not be counted.
- Players are not allowed to hold the balls for too long (10 secs)
- The game ends when a team's players are all eliminated.
- When the time runs out after 8 minutes, the team with more number of players will win. The game will still end even if the result is a draw.
Rules and Regulations for Dodgeball
- Each team consists of 5 main players , with another 2 reserves.
- Players are allowed to run with the ball within their territory.
Long Jump (long jump pits)
How to play?
- Each class will send in a team of 3 boys, and a team of 3 girls, with 2 reserves each.
- There will be al ine before the sand pit.
- The first player will run a distance and starts to leap into the sand pit before crossing thel ine.
- The distance of how far he or she jumps will be recorded.
- The second and third jumper will do the same thing.
- Each jumper will then have only 2 tries
- The best results from each of the players will be added together to get the total team point.
- The team with the highest point wins.
Rules and regulations for Long Jump
- If the jumper starts to leap after he or she crosses the line, the jump will be counted as 0 cm.
- Each jumper will only have 2 tries. After the 2 tries, he or she cannot demand for more tries.
- Start running towards the sand pit only when the teacher gives the signal.
- Upon landing, the distance will be recorded form the line to any nearest body part.
Netball (netball court)
How to play?
- Each team will send a representative to play 'scissors paper stone' with the representative from the other team. The winning team will start first from center.
- The teams have to decide which side they're shooting and let the umpire know of the decision.
- After the whistle blows, the attackers will have to score in the opposite goalpost.
- The defenders will try to defend their opponents from scoring.
- When a team scored, the ball will be brought to the center again.
- The teams will take alternative turns to start the ball.
- The team with the most number of balls scored at the end of the game wins.
Rules and Regulations for Netball
- Each team consists of 5 main players and 2 reserves.
- Only a school team player is allowed in the court at one time.
- Two players from each team will be wearing a sash, to indicate that they are the shooters.
Only the players wearing the sash may shoot.
- The goal will not be counted if the players not wearing the sash shot the ball. Free pass will be given to the opposite team.
- Players are not allowed to walk when in possession of the ball. If the player walks, posession will be given to the opponent's team.
- When the ball is thrown out of court and there's a throw-in, thrower will have to wait for all players to be on court before resuming the game.
- Players are only allowed to hold the ball for a maximum of 3 seconds or the possession will be given to the opposite team.
- Defenders have to stand 3-feets away from the thrower while defending. If not, umpires will blow for obstruction. Free pass will be given to the opposite team.
Soccer (soccer field)
How to play?
- There will be a goalkeeper from each team guarding a goalpost.
- Each team will send a representative to play 'scissors paper stone' with the representative from the other team.
- The starting team will start fomr the center of the court.
- The players will have to use only their legs to direct the ball into the opponent's goalpost.
- The other team will try to prevent their opponent from scoring.
- Once a team scored, the ball will be brought to the center again, and the teams will take alternate turns to start.
- The team wi th the most number of goals scored at the end of the game wins.
Rules and regulations for soccer
- Each team consists of 5 main players (boys ) and 2 reserves.
- No usage of hands is allowed including the goalkeeper. Possession will be given to opposite team if found using.
- Only the goalkeeper can be right in front of the goalpost.
- No substitution of goalkeeper is allowed during the game.
- Substitution of outfiedd player is only allowed with the referees approval
Basketball (bball court)
How to play?
- Each team will send a representativ to play 'scissors paper stone' with te representative from the other team.
- The winning team will start outside the 3-point line.
- There must be at least 1 pass before shooting. Possession will be given to the opposite team if any player shoots the ball when he or she starts and the shot will not count.
- Once the possession changes, the girl has to have possession of the ball before a point can be scored. If the above rule is not satisfied, the score will not be counted.
- Players are allowed to bounce the ball. But once they hold the ball with two hands, they are not supposed to bounce anymore. possession will be given to opposite team if the one of the player 'double'.
- Players are also not allowed to travel with the ball.
- The attacking team will try to score as many points as they can while the defending team has to prevent the attacking team from scoring.
- When a ball is scored, the opposite team will start outside the 3-point line.
- When the attackers failed to shoot and the other team gets the ball, the team will have to get out of the 3-point line first before shooting. Possession will be given to the opposite team if the team does not clear the line before shooting who will have to go out of the 3-point line to start again.
- The team with the highest score at the end of the game wins.
Rules and reg for bball
- Each team consists of 3 main players and 2 reserves.
- Each ball scored will be 1p oint.
- There must be at least a girl and at most a school team player playing on the court at all times.
- In the event of a goul, possession will go to the opposite team, who will start from the side.
